Spring (September- November)
Spring on the Gold Coast offers warm sunny days followed by balmy, tropical evenings, the ideal weather for unwinding by the pool at our Surfers Paradise holiday apartments. With high wind speeds around September, it’s the ideal time to try your hand at a variety of water sports including kite-boarding, windsurfing and sailing. It is also the time of year when you can see wildflowers in a beautiful array of colours spring into bloom.
Summer brings peak temperatures of 20-28C, although hot days are sometimes followed by tropical storms. With the beach just a short stroll from all our Surfers Paradise holiday rentals, this is the ideal time of year to cool off in the Pacific Ocean with a refreshing dip.
With bright days and warm nights, autumn is the perfect time of year to indulge in some of the many outdoor activities loved by locals, including sailing and fishing. There are many great ocean and freshwater fishing spots close to our Gold Coast holiday apartments, so pack a picnic and get out and explore!
Winter is marked by sunny, dry days with temperatures that are still pleasantly warm. There is less rain and humidity this time of year and if you’re visiting from June to October, you may be lucky enough to spot humpback whales in the sparkling waters close to our Surfers Paradise holiday rentals.
